If you call, text or email us

The Call and Text buttons open your phone’s own dialer or messaging app. This website does not see or store your number. If you call, text or email, we get your number or address and whatever you write, and we use it only to answer you. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.

If you call our line

Calls to (825) 949-2229 are answered first by Karen, our AI receptionist. What you say is turned into text and saved as a transcript so Nick gets your message, and he may get a short text summary. To do this the call passes through our phone provider (Twilio), our AI provider (Anthropic) and our voice provider (ElevenLabs). We use it only to answer you and to see how people found us.

The Scorecard

The scorecard is free and you do not have to give us anything to see your result. If you choose to type in your email, we receive that email, your score and your answers so Nick can follow up. The 20-minute call box is a request for us to email you a time. We only use your email for that follow-up.

The scorecard also keeps a simple anonymous count of which questions people reach. It records the business type you pick and your score, using a random code made fresh each visit, with no cookies, no name and no email.

Website analytics

• Google Analytics counts visits and which pages are read. It sets cookies and collects things like your approximate location, device and browser. You can block it with your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tool.
• Metricool is a tracker that tells us which of our posts and ads bring people to this site. It also collects visit information such as pages viewed and device type.

We use these numbers to see what is working. We do not use them to identify you by name.

Who else handles the information

Scorecard emails are handled by our website host, Netlify, and the anonymous scorecard counts are kept in a Pillar database. Google and Metricool process their own analytics. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Some of these services keep data on servers outside Canada. We keep scorecard emails only as long as we need them to follow up with you, then delete them.

Your choices
